Even when the Giants don’t win (although it’s obviously much more fun when they do win), it’s still awfully nice to spend a summer afternoon at the ballpark.

I took this photo last year on opening day. It’s probably one of my favorite photos of the zillions I took last year. By the time the Giants finished the game (and won!), looking at the gorgeous blue skies, you never would have guessed that it had been raining like crazy just a few hours...
Meant to get these photos up sooner, but better late than never, right? Fan Fest was a fun time, as always, and the weather even cooperated long enough for the sun to come out for a bit. Now that pitchers and catchers have reported to spring training, I really can’t wait for the regular season...
Super pleased to hear that Tim Lincecum and the Giants came to an agreement on a two-year deal today. I’m also super happy that pitchers and catchers report next week. Finally! Look for a post full of Fan Fest photos very soon. In the meantime, Happy Tim Lincecum Day!
